Openweg (openweg.bot.nu) is a personal infrastructure and automation project. This website is a fully static site: it does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or any form of tracking, and it does not collect any information about its visitors.
The companion application (nas-mcp) uses Google OAuth to connect to the Google account of its owner. When authorized, it requests the following scope:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive — see, create, modify and delete files in the authorized user's own Google Drive. This access exists solely so that the owner can operate their own automation tools (an MCP server running on their own devices) against their own Drive. Openweg has no central servers that store, process or index this data: all API requests are made directly from the owner's devices.
OAuth access and refresh tokens are stored only locally, in the configuration of the owner's own tools on the owner's own devices. They are never transmitted to us or to any third party.
Limited Use disclosure. Openweg's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We do not sell, rent, share or transfer any user data to third parties. No human eyes ever read Google user data except the owner of the account, through their own tools.
Because tokens and accessed data live only on the user's own devices, retention is fully under the user's control. Access can be revoked at any time from the Google Account permissions page (myaccount.google.com/permissions), which immediately invalidates all tokens.
